This free event will feature a talk by University of Iowa scholar and author Robert Cargill, associate professor of classics and biblical studies. Cargill will explore recent archaeological and academic discoveries from the eastern Mediterranean and Mesopotamia.

Following the talk and a Q&A with Cargill, stay for a social hour featuring local food and drink and lightly structured activities that make it easy to meet new people and reconnect with fellow Hawkeyes.
